Fukuoka travels

On those rare days I get to go exploring the countryside my camera just seems to take pictures on its own. Today my friend Megumi Kawai from Studio Kara took me out and about in the Fukuoka area. What a wonderful day we had! Fukuoka is a major seaport that is surrounded by islands, one of which is Shikanoshima. The beauty was inspiring! I have shared a number of images from our day on the road, I hope you enjoy them.

After our day trip, we met up with Yuka Okawa Rinehart, her friend Yayoi Kakai, and our new friend Colin along one of the Chanels in Fukuoka for dinner at one of the picturesque food carts. Dining along the river from a food cart here is not what you might expect from street food in America. It’s a combination of yummy food and a party.

All in all, we had a fantastic day. Thank you to my friends for a wonderful day of exploration.
