Hello Akron!

After a 36 hour transit from Sapporo, Japan to Akron, Ohio, what is the logical thing to do? Well, spend the next ten days volunteering with the All American Soap Box Derby of course!

I have had so much fun here even though we have had several substantial thunder storms and some very hot temperatures during the week. Volunteering to support children and families is so very rewarding. To make it even more special, I got to drive one of the cars in competition!!!!! I even won a heat!!! Yatah!!!!!!!

This Sunday I will be speaking at the Summit Center for Spiritual Living in Akron, Ohio. My husband Rev Dr. Brian and I will be holding a round-table discussion about Spirituality, so if you are in the area, please come on by!
