Halloween is alive!

As Americans we don’t often think about people in other countries celebrating our holidays, one way or the other, but I am here to tell you, Halloween is alive and well in Japan!  Last week I was in Tokyo and visited the Sky Tree, a huge building which towers over Tokyo.  There, hundreds of feet inn the air I discovered this fanciful Halloween decoration.  It took me a little while to see what I was looking at, but the whole thing represents a pumpkin with lots of holiday decorations interspersed in the scene.  Who knew!

The next exhibit is the decorations at Elpis salon in Fujinomiya.  Just too much fun!

Our costumes for Halloween are intended to help us free our inner selves and also face those things which might frighten us, which is why so many costumes feature death masks.  Ashtar often speaks of releasing our fears and stepping into our true selves, so superheroes, princesses, witches, and avatars, this is your day!  Stand out and stand proud.   And of course, have a wonderful time too.  Happy Halloween from Lady Ashtar and Ashtar!

Blessings of Universal Love,

Terrie
