The very first day I returned to Japan for the summer tour I went to the little known Arisugawa Park, very close by my hotel. While the Cicadas chirped in abundance I was transfixed by the beauty of this ancient park, sandwiched between the businesses and homes of Tokyo. In this peaceful background that has existed for hundreds of years I had a delightful surprise; a Monk from the Edo Period (1063-1867) made himself known to us. With Ashtar’s help he came though to deliver his timeless message. I consider this a true honor and am grateful that after hundreds of years this man of love chose me to help spread his message.
