Rejuvenate your ties

It’s time to rejuvenate your ties to your past and present.

The Holiday season

We are in the midst of the most powerful alignment of celebrations of the year.  Christmas occurs on Wednesday, Hanukkah begins on Wednesday and Thursday we begin the celebration of Kwanzaa.  What a remarkable year!  This alignment does not happen often so it makes the reminder to rejuvenate your ties to observances and people all that more important.

This is the perfect demonstration of why, in December, so many people choose to honor each others traditions by saying, “Happy Holidays” rather than mentioning just one observance.

The power of celebrations

We know that joy and love raise the overall vibration of both individuals and the planet as a whole.  With this triple observance aligning within 24 hours can you imagine the power being generated?  If there were such a thing as a vibration meter I can just imagine that for the next few days the meter would be maxing out!

This is also another opportunity to remember that people have many reasons to celebrate.  Whatever your neighbor is celebrating might not be part of your own traditions but you are free to join in the spirit anyway.  For that matter the way you observe the traditions of your past likely has changed over time.  This does not mean you have to leave those traditions behind.  You can savor the joy you felt then just as easily as you savor the joy of where you are now.  Change is part of life.

From my perspective

As a child Christmas traditions changed abruptly for me in my early years.  In truth, Christmas traditions in my life have changed many times as the years passed for various reasons.  Still, I have a special fondness for all of the ways I celebrated Christmas over the years.  Each was special in its own way.  The same would be true if I had come from a family which observed Hanukkah or Kwanzaa.  We are all on a Spiritual Journey.  Attempting to hold onto the way we celebrated when we were ten years old just cannot happen.

As I think about you my dear friends, each of you, one thing remains constant; my wish for you to be happy, prosperous, joyful and fulfilled each and every day of the year.  As we rejuvenate your ties together my love and appreciation for you remains constant.

Happy Holidays and Blessings of Universal Love,

Terrie
